I figure this deserved a post of its own. I used to play Starcraft all the time when it first came out. Blizzard had a hit with that, Warcraft, and Diablo. Since Warcraft 3 was such a success they seemed to have shifted all their focus on that and making the World of Warcraft franchise. I don’t blame them as that’s a money maker but they abandoned their other titles. Yes, literally too as they had made Starcraft: Ghost a third person shooter title and months before its release it silently faded away. It wasn’t a real time strategy game but I looked forward to it. They announced sometime last year or two years ago or maybe even longer that Starcraft 2 was being made. It looks a lot like its predecessor but it’s updated for current software and graphics. I’m stoked but how do we know they will release it?
The reason I write this is because Best Buy has it slated for release on November 3rd which is pretty definite. If memory serves me right, the same thing happend with Ghost. Hmmm.
